A wooden skimboard is the best way to learn the basics
of skimboarding. For those who have experience, wooden
skimboards are great for strength and condition training.
Learn on a solid wooden board first, then buy a foam board.
Measuring 41 inches long, 20 inches wide and 1/2 inch
thick, they don't make wooden skimboards like this anymore.
Go on any search engine, go on ebay, the wooden boards
out there are not made well, the wood is thin, and riding
those boards is dangerous. They break easy and will not
support your body weight.
