I bought this Mustang from the second owner in xxxx, I have owned this car for most of my adult life. As a military member, I have moved a great deal and have trailered and garaged this car with me for many year. I purchased a new vehicle and have decided to sell my pride and joy. Here are some details. Professionally repainted the original black color in xxxx, completely stripped and block sanded. I recall that I spent about $4k on the paint job and it still looks amazing after ten years! I rate it at 8.5/10. In xxxx I invested a great deal in the car, changing out a Windsor based engine for the new for the year xxxx Coyote crate engine and the Magnum T56 transmission. I took the time to replace the radiator support, install new engine bay panels that were sleek, a new exhaust system, radiator, a complete restoration of all the exterior rubber trim and weatherstrip on the car, completely new interior. New quarterwindows, sunroof hardware/seals, new headlights, new factory emblems. The interior includes new carpet, seats, floormats, door panels, and rear seat delete. Does not have the HVAC for heating/A/C. Only xxxx miles on the car since the complete swap. In terms of function and operation, this is a xxxx Mustang in a Fox body wrapper. Professionally prepared by Murrieta Paint in Murrieta, CA (needed clearance for the tall, but powerful Boss 302 intake manifold). LX taillights 93 Cobra front bumper insert with Mustang Emblem No dyno numbers with current combo, similar Coyote Swapped Foxs put down around 420rwhp, a good estimate. Weighs xxxxlbs without driver, 1/4 tank gas Over $30k invested I pulled a carfax and it revealed "Salvage" on the vehicle history due to a break-in in xxxx. A drivers window was broken out and I replaced it, engine parts were stolen from an engine stand in front of the car but because the break-in occurred at a Auto Hobby Shop (garage) with a crate engine being installed at the time and some of the engine components were stolen, the combined value of the $3k engine was worth more than the vehicle (at the time) so the insurance company issued me a total loss check and I "retained salvage". The car has never been in an accident, and Im more than happy to take close up pictures of every body panels "VIN sticker" showing that no panel (except the aftermarket hood) was ever replaced. I have a clean Montana title, it appears that the break-in that occurred in CA never communicated back to Montana. Up until pulling the carfax a week ago I never thought twice about the title history as it was purely administrative, so the carfax is dirty, the title is clean, and the car is exceptional.
