Max is a 3-year-old shepherd mix that was born right here at the Humane Society. He did live with a military family who couldn't bring him to their new duty station. Max has been here at the HSOP for too long and would love to go to his furr-ever home. He has lived with young children and has a wonderful temperament with them. He is friendly with other dogs, and is very affectionate. He does need a big back yard to run off all his energy, and he really enjoys playing outside.
