Rover is a 55 pound 3 year old boxer/labrador mix. He has now been at our shelter for over a year without anyone showing interest in him - his intake date was 9/28/xxxx. Rovers known past is that he went from a life on the streets of a m ilitary base, to a life in the shelter; he is now hoping that someone will give him a home for the rest of his life. He loves playing with his female dog friends, chewing on Kongs filled with peanut butter, running around in the yard, and chasing cats. Hes a big strong boy with an Indiana Jones type personality who wants an owner that is willing to train him and take him on lots of adventures like hiking in the woods, camping, and going on runs in new neighborhoods. He is very smart and during his time here he has learned sit, stay, and catch. Rover is completely kennel-trained and would become house-trained very quickly if he isnt already. *I am still available for adoption! I am in foster care, so please call to schedule a time to meet*
